Tested with a button tester program on my wii. Most of the buttons didn't actuate about 30% of the time brand new out of the box upon a normal press.The d-pads were terrible and mostly didn't work in certain directions on the controller unless you pressed so hard your skin would break.Just get a refurbished OEM controller and move on with your life; these are the terrible third party controllers you've heard stories about.

I completely lost my original wii remote and nunchuck but I wanted to make sure my niece could play anything she wanted. These were a great value compared to OEM controllers and they work flawlessly. Setting them up was identical to the original controllers and they have been abused by a hyperactive 9 year old for 4 months now without skipping a beat.If I had kept my system I would have bought OEM controllers but after using these I would probably pick them up personally. They are very solidly constructed and are identical to the OEM remotes.

The controllers work, but not perfectly when playing certain games. I have no problems playing Monster Hunter Tri, it works smoothly. However, Super Smash Bros Brawl, not so much. It constantly glitches where dashing is impossible, or it’s not registering buttons being held. It will only register as being tapped. Even when playing without the nunchucks, it’s the same. Wii sports is fine. Zelda Twilight Princess works mostly. Motion commands are often not registered, directional movements are kind of stiff, and the sound is glitchy coming out of the remote, but it gets the job done.

Had to return and opt for official wiimotes because on these ones the d-pad barely worked and the pointer thingy was all glitchy
