Arrived with package ripped open BC the box was not adequate for the weight and type of contents. Chain was almost half out of the box like lower intestine. Main (heavy) unit was in a plastic bag which contributed to the damaged box being ripped open from the sharp edges.Next issue, the main unit bearing on one side is bad, or wrong size, or damaged leaving the rotation extremely sloppy.Overall a bad experience no matter the good price.I recommend buying from another source and/or a different design.

This garage door hoist is a real workhorse. It's sturdy and the 3:1 transmission ratio makes lifting our heavy garage door a breeze. I've been using this roll-up door opener for a few months now, and it's held up well.
