Somewhere I read that if you place the mat in a dryer, it will flatten the mat. I dried the mat on Heavy Duty with Normal temp for 45 minutes. The folds were gone. The mat was slightly wrinkled, so I laid it on the living room floor for 24 hours and that removed the wrinkles.I was a little reluctant to buy this mat being that is thin, but even with the protective rubber backing, it can me fitted to exactly where needed. I bought this for my new 2025 Honda Odyssey minivan to be placed in the back area with the rear seat folded in the floor. On the sides of the folded bench, there is a gap, so I tucked some of the mat on both sides with some mat material extending up each side. With previous minivans, I bought 12' indoor/outdoor carpet and then had to cut the rug to fit as needed. That wasn't an option anymore with my weakened strength, so I am very happy this mat was available -- especially at the price. I didn't have to cut the mat. Should I need to carry people in the third row seat, the mat can easily be rolled or folded and placed in the cargo hold behind the third row.UPDATE on January 25, 2025The more this rug is in use, I am happy for this purchase. The rubber backing holds well to the van's carpet and doesn't move when I slide plastic buckets on the rug.

A few weeks ago, gasoline was spilled in the garage and we fought the odor for a long time. I got this floor mat because we don’t want to have that problem again.PROS: **rubber underside for no slippage **felt upper is soft for laying on to work when on the ground **can be cut to size **absorbs spills **thick enough for cushioning and absorbing spills but thin enough to not be bulky **good quality for the priceCONS: **none that we could find.This is on the basement floor where we’re parking the riding lawn mower. There’s nowhere else to put it until I can build a shed. Wife has battled the idea of storing it inside because of the possibility that a gas or oil spill will happen again. But since getting this mat, I know that If something does leak, this rolls up to easily take it outside. It’s also large enough for a dog house which is where I’ll be if I mess up the basement floor like I did the garage.

Good size for a motorcycle or just to keep under the engine of a vehicle. The rubber backing is nice and helps give it a non-slip grip. The creases in the material annoy me but hopefully they will flatten out in time. I like that you can cut this easily to fit around objects if needed, but I don't care for the thinness of it and wish it was a bit thicker. Hopefully it will prove to be durable long term.

I ride a Harley and My husband rides a dirt bike, and while they are well maintained, we periodically get leaks. We recently built a brand new garage with a brand new concrete floor and I really didn't want oil and other fluids staining the concrete. This mat has really helped with that. I wish I had purchased a larger one. We are able to fit both bikes on it, but not entirely. The rubber backing keeps it from sliding everywhere and the felt top is good for everything except dried grass and goatherds that get stuck to it.

I know that the intended use is for garage floors, to soak up drips from cars. However, I wanted this mat to put under our Blackstone grill (and grill mats are insanely expensive). I thought I would give it a shot; we just bought a Blackstone grill and keep it on our light-gray, concrete patio. I know the slightest spill of oil will remain on the flooring, and I wanted to keep the integrity of the concrete as much as possible.This definitely did the trick. With true fabric scissors, I easily cut through it to adjust the size as we needed. After multiple uses under our Blackstone, I can't tell there's been any kind of splatter, on top of the mat or underneath. I've been really impressed with the absorbency thus far! My only ick is that it's hard to keep clean outdoors in the dry season... dry grass just gravitates to it and WILL NOT come out with a blower. I haven't figured out a good way to properly get the grass off other than vacuuming it with a Shop Vac (which even then, is rather time-consuming).Other than that, it does great and absorbs oil splatter, which is what I wanted. As long as I can figure out a good way to get dry grass/debris off of it, I will likely buy more for my garage!

I ordered the Hbsmat Garage Floor Mat, 5' x 6' Premium Absorbent Oil Pad, Durable & Reusable Absorbent Surface Waterproof & Non-Slip TPR Liner, Multi-Role, Easy to Clean, Durable & Reusable, Dark Grey (5' x 6') to use in our storage closet off our garage. It's a cinder block room with a cement floor and I wanted something to protect the things we store in there from getting scraped up on the floor.The quality of this mat is nice; it has a good thickness but not too thick; it's about a foot too long for the depth of our closet and my husband was easily able to fold the mat under itself to make it fit.I feel like we've just stepped up our storage game. I'm very happy with this mat.

I got this mat to help with oil spills dripping from vehicles or when I’m changing oil. As a do it yourselfer, I do most of my own maintenance on my vehicles. I used this mat when changing oil on my car, which is a pain to drain the oil from. I thought I all the drained oil hit the pan, but afterwords, I found that some ended up on the pad. Nothing went through to the concrete, due to the rubber backing. The downside may be that the color of the mat hides the spill great, but I didn’t notice the spill till later and I would have liked to blot it up right away if I had known. The upside may be that if you are using for drips from a car or motorcycle, the drips will not be noticeable.
