Okay but hard to justify at eighty dollars. These weren't terrible to put together. I did it myself though it'd be easier with a second person.Basically it's 4 posts and 8 beams plus the shelves and a "mallet" (literally a large wood dowel you use to beat it together)First you pound the plastic caps on. They don't fit well but it you hit them hard enough the extra plastic is basically cut off by the metal and it works. You can choose the shelves height and again you put it beams in and pound them down. Lots of pounding. The beams themselves aren't individually sturdy and it flops around while building big as you get it together it gets strength by the shape of it all together. The shelves rest on top and fit in nicely.I'd trust to hold things like heavy cans of paint at least and the selectable height is nice but as much as I had to beat on it reassembly at a different height would be a challenge.Kinda annoying to assemble but not hard. Not the sturdiest but good enough. My real issue is the price these are currently listed at. I've bought other garage shelves that seemed much sturdier and were 3 tiered for the same price that had legs that screwed in with no need to beat anything. If this was half the price of that it'd be great. The blue is pretty.

I feel this shelving is not what I would consider heavy duty. It was easy to assemble and is good storage for getting stuff off the garage floor (which is all I needed). So for the price, it functions well. If you truly need heavy duty, this is not the shelving for you. It would have been nice to have one more shelf.

This thing is a beast, which is exactly what we needed for some of the items in our storage unit. It went together fairly easily and is probably the most stable shelving unit we've ever had, including the industrial metal and wood shelves in our garage. The 18 inch depth of the shelves makes it easier to store boxes sideways, which means we can get more of them off the floor. The low bottom shelf prevented either of us from having to lift pool chemical buckets and other heavy items more than a few inches off the floor (saved my back, for sure). This is the kind of shelf that won't budge if you happen to bump it with the car when you're pulling into the garage or something falls on it. Both my husband and I could probably stand on it at the same time. It doesn't wobble or shift, and it's sturdy even on our slightly unlevel garage floor. Highly recommend for anyone who needs stable, convenient storage for heavy items.

I like this shelf. Easy to put together, and very sturdy. A nice touch is the set of rubberized gloves, and the wood dowel that they included as tools to assist in assembly. The wood dowel can be used as a "persuasion" tool to get the shelves seated fully, and the gloves work great to keep you from pinching or cutting yourself on the sheet metal parts. The shelves seem to have decently burnished edges, and the color of the one I got was a columbia blue. Flashback to the Houston Oilers team colors. The shelf is sturdy, and is tall enough to work as a light duty workbench in a pinch. The only issue (a minor one at that) is that moving it can loosen the connections, as it is a friction fit piece of metal furniture. Definitely worth the price, and should last many years.

I just put it up and it seems a little flimsy but it's holding both of the tanks so far so good when I put water in the tank and let them sit for a couple days we'll so far so good when I put water in the tank and let them sit for a couple days we'll see

I liked how the shelves were pretty stable once assembled.I managed to assemble them myself but having a second person would have been helpful.I didn't like how the directions didn't mention that the corner posts were two different sizes. It also didn't mention how to use the two different sizes of middle posts. And lastly, they didn't mention that a mallet would be needed to tap the posts together or they would pop apart.Once I figured out how to assemble it, it was pretty easy.

Very, very, very flimsy. They shake like crazy. There is no way this will do what it is intended to do. If you are looking for strong, wobble-free, shelving - this is not it.As soon as I saw the box on my porch, I knew these were cheap, super-thin, stamped "steel". I'm sure they will hold what they show in the pictures, but paper towels and ramen don't weigh 550 pounds, per shelf. No way these will hold 1100 pounds. Zero.Sad that companies resort to blatant fabrications of truth to sell junk like this. Also, at the price these are being sold at, I feel ripped off. Very ripped off. The description and pictures are disingenous, at best, outright lies.In contrast, the fleximounts shelves are as advertised. And cheaper when you buy the 72" and use it as two units.Contemplating sending these back, but they are oversized and I am not as injury-free as I once was.Man, what a horrible product.
