I have a Linear garage door opener. This is a perfect replacement for the old one that stopped working. The holes match up perfectly to my old one so I didn't even have to make new holes for installation. A cheap 9 volt battery is included, so be prepared by having a good 9 volt ready. If you have a Linear door opener and are having issues programming this keypad then you might be doing something wrong. All I did was press the "Learn" button on the door opener one time. When it lights up, then push your four digit number code on the keypad. Hit "enter" on the keypad. Simple. I also suggest you do this BEFORE installing the keypad by holding the keypad near the garage door opener.

Replaced Precision PDS 800 keypad that had failed after years of use. This replacement programmed easily (single button press followed by code on keypad) and fit precisely with the prior keypad so screws lined up with prior holes. A matter of minutes to install. Overall very pleased.

This is a good replacement for my old pad. The instructions were simple, but reminding me to plug in the battery would have been helpful. The Keypad back had to be removed by taking out six small screws to plug in the battery. So 4 stars instead of five stars.
