This part is a perfect fit. Be prepared that uninstalling the old panel will require drilling out all the rivets, which was the most difficult part of the operation. Once out, I used self tapping, self expanding metal wall anchor screws from the hardware store (common item) instead of rivets to install this new one into the car, which was much easier for me than rivets and has the same quality hold as the factory rivets. Saved myself lots of $$ with this replacement vs going to the dealer.
