I used several of these last spring to protect my potato plants. They worked for the plants that were not tall enough to stick out through the top, but those that were too tall to stay contained froze anyway.

Early in the spring when you have just planted and there is a danger of frost, these cloches cover most beginning plants and are a great protection. Used them this past spring and they worked great.

These are so helpful in getting seedlings and young plants started! With the metal anchors they are stable providing a mini greenhouse that also protects the plants until they outgrow them.

They definitely deterred the chickens from eating the plants when they were tiny but they are super light so they will blow away unless you stake them down (they don’t come with stakes or have holes to put stakes through). They are also small so they are really only good while the plants are small then they become useless.

The cone shape narrows too quickly to keep it on a plant very long. The traditional “bell” shape of a cloche would be much better. All other aspects of the cloche are great.

Really liked these covers for the garden. Protected young seedlings from the cold, winds breaking stems and bunny munching. After months of use, all the covers were still fine. They were not brittle or broken from the wind or constant sun. Even accidently crunched one, and just popped it back up. Will definitely be using again next season. Note though...these are lightweight. I did have to stake them down or the wind would carry them off. I just put a bamboo stake thru the opening at the top, into the ground, and they were fine. Also used plant stakes on a couple and that also worked. Definitely recommend.

I love these because this spring we had a lot warm days and a lot of plants came up then we had frost. I covered these plants to protect them, worked very well. Didn’t lose any oh my plants. A thumps up!

These plant covers help keep birds and other animals from nibbling at garden plants. They allow light to get through for growth. They prevent snails and aphids from getting to the leaves.Main issue is they’re rather lightweight so might blow over when it’s very windy.
