It's fine and what I wanted but hated the assembly.

Good stuff... bought a different green one first and returned it after 6 hours trying to make a trellis, dont get the super versatile green one with the weird joints, this one is very sturdy... only regret is I wish it was 3 feet taller! But I have a plan to turn the V trellis into an X with 6 foot bamboo. I have 2 of em, they gave be these cucs. Suspect they should last at least 3 seasons... but would be nice to have something even stronger, real mechanical joints... they don't make a lot like this in this realm... I might learn more bamboo trellis or build one out of piping next year, but this did the trick after a few failed products.

Easy install, clear directions - need a bit of hand strength to connect those metal clips! Once they are on, those poles aren’t moving without first removing the clips. Might be a good idea to decide where you want the cross-rails before installing them (or have someone standing behind you telling you “up, no down a little on the right…”) I would not try to push the main support beams into the ground until the frame is put together, especially in hard ground. It looks/feels like the stainless steel inserts (which connect the tops and bottoms of the side A-frame poles) are a bit weak. (Mine started to bend when I tried to push into the ground the A-frame without the cross-beam supports.)The netting is not very sturdy - it’s basically starched 2-thread string. The only way the net will support anything heavier than beans is to pull it as tight as possible and use the plastic clips to hold it tightly. That tension should be able to support average sized tomatoes, maybe small cucumbers. Anything heavier would need to be supported by the metal poles, not the net. Also, to accomplish this with the netting, you will need more plastic clips than the 10 provided - I estimated 16-18 clips needed when I installed it tightly. Strange design on the plastic clips - not sure why the little center flap is needed, as the clips install to the poles very securely even without engaging it. The clips are so tight on the poles that it takes a little bit of effort (and wiggling) to get it off.I think the price for this trellis is a little high - maybe if the netting was upgraded and additional clips were provided, it would be more reasonable.

Gardening is one of those hobbies that can quickly spiral into a second job.. But as hard as the labor can become, it can just as often produce results that remind you why it's one of the great activities a person can indulge in.. Great gardening requires alot, and while this A-frame can do the job its made for adequately, some flimsiness and its cheaper build material make it iffy for long term goals. Not that it can't be sturdied, it does come with several metal clasps that work well enough but of the many that came, quite a few were less then perfect and ended up being replaced by some of my own making. The netting is fine and will support growth well as long as the plastic holders included come in good condition (which a few of mine did not).. Building it was simple and once completely intact, stood in one of my garden boxes well, as well as in the plot which left me a bit conflicted. This frame is an excellent idea, and is itself quite useful and believe it will work well. But the small issues I encountered during its build and some questionable design choices have left me squarely in the middle here. It will work, and might work very well but with such a precarious balance of pros and cons, other options would surely do just as well...

I haven't used it yet, but it arrived quickly and all the parts are there and it looks to be in good shape and made well. Can't wait to use it.

I was able to assemble this trellis in under 15 minutes. It is very tall for me. I am only five feet tall, so this goes above my head. The black rods are put together with metal clips. Some of the parts had some metal shavings but they included a pair of gloves to use in assembly. After I had the frame finished, all I had to do was clip the green net on to it. I am going to use this to grow small watermelons. I put it in an above ground garden bed. My only suggestion would be to include some stakes to secure the bottom of the frame to the dirt. But all in all I am very pleased with the finished product.

Teen daughter assembled it, said it was kinda hard to assemble but it only took her 10 minutes. I looked at a lot of these and this one was the biggest for the best price, I decided.Gonna try to put it 6 inches in ground and hope the wind doesn't blow it over. Using it for pole beans.

I'm using this for my cucumbers and tomato plants! I live in an area with a lot of wind and wanted something sturdy to grow my plants on. This has done a great job at keeping them from breaking in the wind!
