Log was cracking too much while drying for woodworking so I stapled it together with these to prevent the cracks from widening. If they can hold a 3 foot wide tree trunk together while it dries I'm sure they'll hold whatever you're hammering them into.

These are huge like 1.25 inches wide. I was able to use these to nail down an area rug on top of a closet rug I needed to stay stationary.

No problem with these, the right size arrived and they do the job they are meant for. Strong enough so as long as you hit the corners square they don't bend as you drive them in.

I used these to tack a 1/2 cable to the beams in my basement. They did the job. My only comment is that they tended to bend a little when hammering them in. It may be due in part to the size of these staples, but could also be that the metal they're made out of is a little softer than it could be. I tried to use reduced force and strike the staples toward the corner instead of in the middle.
