It locks in 12 positions at 30-degree increments for the most stable seating. It features heavy duty stainless steel construction that is suitable for use in offshore conditions. It fits most standard seat hole patterns, and features a self-lubricating, non-corrosive poly swivel bearing. This swivel measures 7-In. x 7-In. (18cm x 18cm). They look good, but do not turn well and 1 of 2 bent and failed without even having any weight on it.

I appreciated that it came in matched the swivel outer dimensions. However, with the extra welds for the locking mechanism, the pilot holes do not match. I had to fab my seat a bit to get it to match, (which wasn't much), but just a small annoyance.I do however love the sturdiness of it. I'm constantly road traveling, and the bouncing around is what caused the first swivel to break apart.I would highly recommend for anyone adapting to salt water life.

I wanted to make the passenger seat on my small 16" speed boat swivel so they could face backwards while spotting while towing someone but forward when just joy cruising. This was exactly what I was looking for. It's all stainless and uses a ring of teflon instead of ball bearings to slide on when rotating. I installed it and it works perfectly!

They installed easy but one failed on the first trip out fishing . Had to return them .
