I upgraded from the 1030 to the 1050 and it was completely worth it. I really enjoy the improved information provided (e.g., hill start/finish, on-road obstacles, etc.) and color display.

The powerbank shown in the picture was not included in the box. Complete the missing product and then I will give a good comment.

Power bank is useless , IQ applications do not support this modelThe power bank will stop charging after 5 minutes. You have to constantly hit the button to keep it charging your phone. I bought both of these, one was for my wife. After comparing the two, the 1040 is pretty much the same unit for $200 less. The 1050 screen is a litter brighter when turned all the way up, BUT the 1040 brightness is ALSO bright and perfectly readable in the sun as well. The 1050 battery life is longer, BUT the 1040 last for 35 hours, and battery saver mode is 70 hours, how much do you really need when rides are at best 6 hours long or shorter. Get the 1040 and save $200 - 12/24 pricing.
