The GPSMAP 441s is a compact chartplotter that features an ultra-bright 4" (10.16 cm) QVGA color display along with an improved high-speed digital design for increased map drawing and panning speeds. It’s ready to go with an easy-to-use interface and a built-in, satellite-enhanced basemap preloaded with all U.S. coastal areas, including Alaska and Hawaii as well as detailed charts for the Bahamas. The GPSMAP 441s also accepts BlueChart® g2 Vision® cards (sold separately) for added features and functionality such as high-resolution satellite imagery, 3-D views and Auto Guidance technology.

Explore the Seas

The GPSMAP 441s comes ready to go with preloaded U.S. coastal area map data. For areas outside the U.S., the GPSMAP 441s has a worldwide basemap with satellite images in place of more traditional maps. The GPSMAP 441s also comes standard with a high-sensitivity GPS receiver for superior satellite tracking and quicker acquisition times. In addition, the GPSMAP 441s can receive U.S. graphical weather data via optional GXM™ 51 satellite receiver/antenna (sold separately). And with an SD™ card slot, it’s easy to add additional maps without connecting to a computer.

Get Sonar

The GPSMAP 441s comes with a powerful dual-frequency transducer that clearly illustrates depth contours, fish targets and structure whether you’re fishing in freshwater or off the coast. The GPSMAP 441s also is NMEA 2000®-certified for easy connectivity with sensors, instruments and future marine offerings.

Add Extras with BlueChart g2 Vision

With the optional BlueChart g2 Vision SD card, you can add a whole new dimension of exceptional features to your chartplotter.

  • MarinerEye view and FishEye view provide you a 3-D perspective of map information, both above and below the waterline.
  • High-resolution satellite images and aerial photographs help you orient yourself in unfamiliar areas.
  • Auto Guidance technology searches through all relevant charts to create a route you can actually follow — one that avoids obstacles, shallow water, buoys and other obstructions.

I am a professional charter boat captain who has been using Garmin GPS units for many years and I have seen a continual drop in quality. Worse yet, the units get more and more complicated with the various options often requiring multiple button presses. It's one thing to press small buttons in your living room quite another to attempt it while bouncing around on wavetops in dense fog! Years ago there was a book published entitled "Small Is Beautiful" and in some areas that's true. But when it comes to numbers and letters on a GPS screen small is definately NOT beautiful, particularly as you age and small print becomes more and more difficult to read. That said I find the characters on the 441s screen very difficult to read, particularly in low light. Last but not least the bean counters at Garmin decided to save a few pennies by substituting a cheap plastic fuse holder in place of the normal spring loaded bayonet lock fuse holder I orefer. Times beyond counting I've had the 441s shut down when most needed it when the fuse holder became loose due to choppy conditions! Far as I'm concerned this is a serious enough safety issue to warrant a safety recall! Currently I am pushing the two sides of the fuse connector together and then winding electrical tape around the fuse holder in an attempt to keep the two halfs from slipping apart...shame on Garmin!

Excellent GPS, Chartplotter and fish finder. I am very pleased with Garmin products. I have the 441 on my bay boat and the 440 on my lake pontoon boat. Easy to use and understand.

Item works great. Easy installation. Sounder is a little picky about angle in water, makes it a bit hard for pontoon boat at varying speeds, but generally a good purchase.

So advanced... took some time to learn the system. We have loved this! It has worked great and always helped us with allowing us to save searches and saved previous routes we went at high/low tide so we remember how we manuvered previously. It has so many great and useful features... It is durable and has been used in all weather conditions and has held up great. We love it.

I would like to start by saying this is the first review of a product that I have written, but i am so disappointed that I feel like other consumers need to be aware. I am an amazon prime member and order from amazon all the time, but I will never again order from this seller- ANTONLINE- and I caution you to be sure that this is the exact product you want before you do. I ordered this GPS for a gift for my husband for our new boat. When he opened the gift he opened the box as people do when they are given a gift. THe next day we got an email from West Marine. they had the same product for a significanlty cheaper price. I said that i would just send this one back.... not so much. Antonline will be charging a 20% restocking fee as well as deducting shipping costs. Not just return shipping costs, but costs for shipping it to me orginally. This is not the kind of customer service I expect from a Amazon purchase, and I guess i have learned an expensive lesson of not ordering from sellers I am not familiar with. I know I will never order from Antonline and would recommend no one else order from them either.

I needed a replacement depth sounder for the dinghy on my sportfisher. I wanted it compact and capable of providing both position and depth. A color screen was a bonus. The dinghy is only 11'6", so compact size was also needed. The Garmin unit provided all that I needed at an Amazon price. I found installation was simple, and the unit fired up immediately when the power supply was completed. I already had a mounting block on the trailing edge of the hard bottom, so the transducer installation was a snap - a couple screw holes and done.I used the unit on vacation this summer, and it performed flawlessly. The internal antenna seemed to be adequate for the task and tracked right where the boat was. The depth readings worked well, whether at speed or idling. Like all electronics, the size of the screen could be bigger, but I did not want to pay the extra $100 for the 5" screen of a 541s. I am very happy with this unit, especially in light of the cost of Raymarine, Furuno and other "big boat" chartplotters.

An excellent bit of kit for boaters. Saved us from running aground and helped us navigate the intercoastal waterway in Florida. The display is clear and it is easy to operate. It has a depth sounder if you are getting into shallow waters. Fixes to the boat and unclips to take home when the boat is in dock. Excellent GPS, Garmin is a name to be trusted. Very good price through Amazon - cheaper than the boat shop..!!
