I know its supposed to be plug and play but however my ebike does not have a option for an alarm so I had to use this one and discover what wire did what. Thats why I writing this since there is no instructions. Since I added turn key ignition and turn signals, I was able to make the turn signals and brake light flash when the alarm is sounding as well as kill the ignition switch to kill power to the bike. Once you know the wiring it very versatile with some relays. The one I have been recieving are not the ones in the picture with 3 wires and a antenna but with the 5 wires and a antenna. Red is +, black is -, black with heat shrink at tip is antenna. The blue, gray and orange out of those 3 the only one you need to worry about is the blue. When alarm sounds it connects 54v-. The gray wire is trying to detect a a/c current form the motor. I guess thats the motor phase wire. The orange during bench testing with a volt/ohm meter show 54v+. Original I thought orange to + coil on relay and blue to - coil so the relay could activate when alarm sounded to kill the ignition and send power to the buck coverter 12v to power my hazards but that was no good. The orange wire and red+ ended up melting and the alarm itself popped and had a puff a smoke. Best way to wire this 48v+ going to red wire and pin 86 on the relay(s), 48v- to black wire, and blue wire to pin 85 on your relay(s) so when alarm is sounding/triggered the relay(s) will activate and connect pin 30 to pin 87. If you want it to kill the ignition have you ignition wire going to pin 30 and the output (in my case to 48v-) connect to 87A so there's connection when alarm is not sounding but once alarm is triggered that relay disconnects for 87A to 87 killing power to 48v system. Yes my bike is heavily modified.......48v ebike with buck converter for 12v lights and accessoriesBut as for the alarm its build quality is ok from what I can tell. Its fairly loud but I am thinking about having my horn sound and fog lights flash (yes it has car horns and fog lights too lol) when it goes off but that requires more wiring another relay and im running out of room. The movement sensitivity is on point. Won't activate in the wind but will if somebody hops on or moves your bike. This and a 3 pack 48v relays under $30 i can't complain so far it seems to work well I even bought one for my bike trailer just hope the last.

This alarm is VERY loud when set up correctly. Also it has a really good MOSFET in it, meaning it can handle a lot of power, and can handle

This item doesn't work for very long. I've had to replace this thing like for times. They die for apparently no reason at all. Will not ever buy one the again.
