I use the tapered reamer to cut precisely-sized holes in plastic enclosures for electronics hobby projects. These are the perfect tool for that task. You just drill a small pilot hole with a drill bit. Then you use the reamer to slowly and gently ream out the hole until it is the perfect size. These are inexpensive. Work fine for my needs.
