This product is terrible they break apart at the seams were the cap meets the canister, which means the fuel leaks. Maybe they got crushed during shipping and it weakened it, but they didn't look defective before installing. The product is not worth the money save your time and buy something else even if it costs more.

My riding mower doesn’t have a shut off valve so changing a fuel filter is always a little messy. The filter is a different style but i like it. It’s bigger and easier to hold and looks like a lot more filter element than the smaller disk type filters. The longer inlet and outlet tubes went in the gas line ok. The filter isn’t marked for direction for fuel flow, but I installed it with the inlet facing the clear half (side with the filter element visible). I figured I’d be able to see any contamination that way. Mowed the acre yard with no problem !
