These switches are probably the nicest clicky switches on the market, but that comes with a caveat. They are super smooth and the click is not incredibly obnoxious. However, that makes it such that these need to be paired with a very well-damped board. They do not sound that good on cheaper plastic boards because the bottom out resonances do not pair well with the switch sound. Otherwise, fantastic clicky switches!

I’ve been a clicky/tactile fan since the days of the IBM “buckling spring” switches. I’ve flirted with various rubber dome switches, as are common in the modern era, and even had a few that were pretty good. That said, none have been as pleasant to use as the old-school mechanical switches. Especially the original first gen NeXT keyboard.I’m now back to a mechanical keyboard, a Keychron Q3 Max, which I purchased with the Gateron Jupiter Banana switches. That switch is a tactile with the bump coming early in the stroke. It is a fabulous switch, but I wanted to try a clicky with a similar feel (the Blue is OK but is a touch heavy and the actuation is not quite where I want it). The Gateron Melodic fits me perfectly. The touch is light enough not to fatigue my wrists and the actuation is where I expect it. The tactile feedback is good without become too intrusive and I feel both on them down and upstrokes.About the only thing they could improve on is reducing the wobble. It’s not that the wobble is bad…it has no more wobble than most other high-quality switches. However, it is just about the only nitpick I have with this switch. I LOVE IT!

never have I ever imagined I would find clicky switches with such an amazing sound profile. They are a bit hard to press, which will tire out your fingers in the beginning, but you will get used to it.Even my roomate is not annoyed by their sound lol

Used on "Akko 5087S QMK TKL Wired Mechanical Gaming Keyboard" that is sold on Amazon.Very easy to change out switches. These are nice. Fingers feel response when key is pressed, not too noisy, very clean sounding. Very happy.
