Perfect replacement part for my 2001 Pontiac grand am! I lost my original cap when I was topping off coolant reservoir then just assumed it was gone forever. I bought this Gates replacement cap and it fit just as well if not BETTER than the OEM radiator cap!

When our radiator cap went bad I found this cap from Gates. Gates has always been a good name for automotive belts so I decided to try their radiator cap (I had no idea that they sold them). Fixed the problem. So needless to say I am happy with this purchase

The manufacturer box was smashed and torn up. The shipping envelope was fine so it must have come from the manufacturer like that. The cap fit okay and has not leaked thus far. Only had it on for a week though
