I want my pedals up where I can get at 'em, and this is the best solution I've found. The tray is 19.5" x 16", which is larger than most equipment stands (and most pedal boards, too). Build quality is excellent, and the stand is solid as a rock. If you're using it for pedals, get the standard. The deluxe is much heavier than you need, and the minimum height is 36", which is way too tall. I assembled it with the flanges up on the bottom and sides, so the pedals are safe and secure. The power supply is firmly attached underneath with 3M Dual Lock. I bought a roll of toolbox liner and cut it to fit, and it cuts down on the sliding around. Yes, those are paint stirrers -- the simpler a solution, the better I like it.There's room for plenty of pedals, but the cables use up a lot of real estate. If there were cable management slots, like a real pedalboard, I would have a much better platform to work with. I wish Gator (or somebody) would make a pedalboard with cable management, that mounts on a PA stand -- that would be pure gold. And if it could go from floor to stand to carry case -- holy honkin' Moses, that would get a Nobel Prize.Until that that happens, this is as good as it gets.

I tried just about every option for my Korg Minilogue XD. There is one other option that has a large enough platform, but it's cheap plastic. Found this one slightly used for a little more $ and it is perfection.

This stand is very stable. If you bump it, the tray has enough weight to not fall over. Highly recommend for holding anything like laptops or fragile equipment.

Bad weld.I bought this last year for a photo shoot. The night before I took it out of the box to assemble and thought I was missing a piece because I couldn’t figure out how to attach the tray to the stand. The tray base has a hole that looks like it should have a screw attachment or something. No manual in the box. Set it aside because of the time crunch and forgot about it.Ran across it today and thought I’d finally look it up. No manual online. No assembly videos. Finally thought to scroll reviews here to see if anyone else had a similar problem, only to discover the damn thing was broken from the start. The neck sleeve that was on the pole is supposed to be welded to the tilt base of the tray. The break was so clean that I didn’t realize they were supposed to be one piece. Wonder if I received a returned item. Thanks to other reviewers that shared the same problem.Anyway, glad to know I wasn’t lame enough to not know how to assemble it, only lame enough to not follow through in a timely manner to get it resolved.

Yes! Great.I bought a new power mixer that weighed 21 lb. When I placed it on my previous tray stand I felt the stand was not quite strong enough and apt to fail with any kind of bumping as might be the case on stage.I bought this one and was pleasantly surprised at its heft - heavy duty indeed. It is solid as a rock and tightens up with rigid results. The mixer sits on the new stand securely and with the added foam strips on the tray top it doesn't slip or slide. In a word, "perfect."The stand folds up and is easily stored in a flat vertical/horizontal position that only take up about 5-6 inches. (It sits behind my drivers seat easily when traveling.) It's rated at 45 pounds but I feel it can reasonably exceed that limit.I highly recommend for the serious performer who needs to not worry about the integrity of the gear and just think about delivering the best performance.

Pros:-The product is pretty sturdy- It comes preassembled so you don’t need manual-foldable and portableCons:-my mail came in damaged. The base of the legs is peaking out of the box on arrival. The wear and tear on the leg stand was probably due to it protruding out of the box when it was getting shipped.- when tilting the product it makes a creaking sound, so that might be an indication it has to much workloadTo summarize I am pretty happy with the product despite the wear and tear on the stand let’s. It still works fine so I will just keep it.

Got a couple of these to hold a few pedal boards for when I’m using them on my synths. Easily holds both boards, easy to assemble, and very stable. They definitely feel heavy duty, as Gator products tend to, even when holding the bigger of the two pedal boards. An other quality product from Gator. Would definitely buy an other if I needed it.Not going to remove a star from the product review as it’s Amazon’s fault, but only negative on one of them is that I bought it used in “Like New” condition from Amazon, but arrived scratched up and bent on a few corners of the tray. The scratches don’t matter too much and I was able to fix the bent corners, so in the end it’s not that big a deal considering I got it for around $50 on Prime day. Not sure who deemed the stand as “Like New”, but hopefully they’ve gotten glasses by now.

I didn't know whether this gator stand was going to be a good purchase, as it seemed fairly expensive, and I was looking for an inexpensive way to position a monitor where I could see it behind a stage piano. Now that I've had it for a while, I can safely say this is a great product and worth the money. The stand is sturdy, light, and easily adjustable. I haven't used the tray, but the VESA mount for a monitor works perfectly.

Throughout the years, I’ve had many desks, podiums, stands, etc... if there was a brand that could mean: quality, toughness and overall excellent user experience, “Gator Frameworks” would be it. This “media” stand is fantastic. I currently have my ‘online conference’ equipment on it and it holds it all like a champ! (Computer, mic, webcam, DAC, Audio interface, etc.)It can also hold my music keyboard and DJ equipment... no worries...IF I had a beef with this stand ... it would be that it should include a carry case...Overall, a fantastic buy! Highly recommended!
