If you've shopped around for other brands of this same item, this is the one you want. I bought others and they didn't hold up like this one does. Super sturdy, tightens down firmly, and the finish is super clean.

I bought this to get the proper angle for a guitar mic and it works perfectly. It articulates to virtually any angle and locks in well.

Works well, just as it should. Comes with an Allen wrench. I have no idea what it is used for. No instructions come with the boom. I have not found any instructions online either.

I like Gator stuff. It works and it's fairly priced. Can't ask much more than that. I was having trouble articulating some microphone positions on my desktop boom. I like to swap mics out with quik change clips, but they don't always cooperate with positioning, so this helped immensely. It's also strong enough that I can actually rotate some shockmounted LDC mics up and out of the way and they will stay there. Good job Gator!

I combined it with another attachment and connected it to my aluminum extrusion DJ booth. And this holds my iPad holder. Since I bought this one I bought two more. One for back up just in case this one gets broken in transportation. And also one for another application… also for an iPad holder, but used for something else.

Nice metal, easy to move and adjust, great motion as well. My only complaint is I wish it came with a adapter for smaller thread mic stands, but luckily I had one spare. This thing is great, loving it!

This is exactly what I've been looking for past few months!Before this adapter, I couldn't get my mic's pickup region (above where the green LED is) to face directly at my mouth. But thanks to this adapter, I was able to add a 90 degree bend, allowing me to get the mic's pickup region to point directly at my mouth. Refer to the two attached pictures.
