Love this assortment of hardware. I put up a new pegboard in my office and needed these screws, etc. to make it look professional. Nice set, good quality pieces. Easy to use and good price at $7 for the set.

I have hung pegboards up at each house we have moved into, and our current home is the first time I had used a pegboard mounting kit instead of using strapping. A mounting kit does make for easy installation and leaves more of the pegboard holes free for use. However, strapping does provide for a larger space between the pegboard and the wall to maneuver hooks--which isn't usually a problem, but occasionally a couple of the hooks require a bit more space behind the board.This kit is similar to the one I had initially used which I had gotten from the hardware store with two exceptions. One, it came with washers (which you need so the screws don't start tearing through the pegboard holes!!! I had purchased these separately when I installed the previous pegboard). Two, it also came with anchors. However, I really find anchors like these to be pretty wimpy and almost always upgrade to heavier duty anchors unless I am going directly into wood...and if I am going directly into wood, I want longer screws than what are provided in this kit, so either way, unless you are hanging a light duty pegboard, you most likely will want at least some different anchors and/or screws. However, if you are hanging small panels of pegboard and/or for putting lighter weight items on the pegboard (and not into plaster or drywall), the hardware of this kit would be sufficient.Oddly, the set comes in a black velvet drawstring pouch. Not normally my first thought of packaging when it comes to hardware.

The screw kit came just as expected with all listed components. This was very useful in hanging a pegboard for my garage project. It even came in a nice bag.

This kit does have everything that you need to mount pegboard. The spacers are a positive game changer. There are alot of small pieces without any real separation/organization, but if you have small containers to keep them separated it helps. It's really nice to have everything you need and not have to go and purchase parts separately.

I have never used pegboard before, but was given a substantial section from a neighbor that was cleaning out his garage. Hmm, I thought, there is a hardware kit designed specifically for the purpose of installing pegboard. I gotta get it!I will admit that I am a bit of a 'hardware junkie' and love good quality hardware that will fit and work perfectly in getting a project completed. I do a lot of handyman tasks are was raring to go to work!Before I rushed into the task at hand I happened to read reviews to learned what hurdles will be lying before me. It seems that several people complained that the hardware is too small and of 'cheap and/or poor quality' to get the job done correctly.I will use what pieces of the kit that I can, but will make up my own mounting devices to accommodate the task. I am a very capable handyman and will get it done one way or another.I really do like the velveteen bag that this hardware kit comes in. Too bad most of it is a mistake!

This mounting kit is as advertised. It works for the intended purpose. The hardware seems to be of average quality. There are no concerns/issues.Rating System⭐️ 1 star= Disappointed. I don't recommend it at all, poor quality, or not as advertised.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars = Has some redeeming quality.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars = It's passable. Might not have bothered.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars = Mostly Satisfied.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars = Entirely Satisfied. Recommend.

Full disclosure, now that my projects done I have some buyers remorse.I got a small pegboard to hang near my desk and if this was a workshop I'd just cut some firring strips up and use those as the "spacers" and attach it that way but this is my office and I really want it to look nice. Unfortunately I shopped with my wallet and not with my eyes.This kit came with the cheapest "anchors" out there the kind that come with every picture frame and they're not all that great when compared to the competition for bearing load. I knew that from the pictures and got them anyway because I wanted the spacers and the hardware. I could have sourced better anchors at the hardware store but then I'd have to get longer screws and I'd still need to get spacers.The "spacers" should be at LEAST a 1/2 inch in size to provide the minimum amount of clearance for hooks and things behind the pegboard and these spacers aren't even that (see pic) these are 15/32 inch so there's a good chance they're not going to work for long hooks in the back.The only redeeming thing I have to say about this item is the instructions the seller provided in the writeup was well written (which is good because there were no instructions included in the bag lol).I'd send these back and get a refund if I hadn't already installed them because I was tired of the project and wanted to be done with it.Bottom Line: If you're in the market look elsewhere!
