I've had many juicers over the years and they all seem to have pros and cons at this price level. This juicer is a hit for it's power and ease of cleaning in particular-- great extraction capabilitity from very hard whole items like beets and apples, of which I don't even usually need to cut up in order to fit in the chute. Cleaning is also quite easy so long as you don't let it sit dirty for very long after use. Provided scrubby brush is a nice touch. On the less good end of things I would say that the connections between parts are not very tight, this means that it can leak a little bit during use, especially at the higher speed. Not a huge deal, but I wouldn't wear a white shirt while juicing beets. Overall, very solid juicer if you're looking to get into it for a while and see if you want to commit to a higher end model. This one should last you a solid couple of years.

This juicer is awesome. It was easy to put it together and I began juicing. The pulp is so dry which means I’m getting as much juice as possible. Very very easy to clean up. Size is perfect and fits well in my small appliance storage area. Great value for the money. Highly recommended!

At heart a juicer is just a blender with some fancy attachments - in other words, the basic working parts are a heavy-duty motor which attaches to a rotor that either has blades (a blender) or a perforated disc (a juicer). So the first distinction to make is: is the motor powerful enough, and then is it quiet enough (for home use)? Both questions answer favourably here: this machine has a very heavy-duty motor and it purrs with a quiet precision that would put many blenders to shame. As I noted, the rest is just details of the accoutrement - the various attachments used. This juicer has just a handful of parts aside from the motor base (which as mentioned is heavy, powerful and quiet - and also has these very handy suction cups to keep it stable on the countertop, which I like). There is a centrifuge tray which sits above the juicing disc: this essentially spins out the juice into two vessels - one to collect the pulp and the other to collect the juice. The pulp vessel slips beneath the centrifuge tray and easily collects the mealy bits. It has a clever air baffle to vent out the positive pressure and works well. The juice vessel is a simple plastic pitcher but has a nice feature where it can be used to pour, and has an interesting (and effective) multi-tiered spout which works well also. One thing I didn't like about the juice vessel is that the centrifuge port into it angles downward and while I presume this is to leverage gravity to get every last drop of juice, what happens is that inevitably some juice drips out onto the counter when you remove the juice vessel/pitcher. I wish there were a better design solution on this point.I should add also that the parts come together easily, and disassemble just as easily. Aside from the motor base, there are five plastic parts of the various attachments, all easily hand-washable. Ease of cleaning is important because if cleaning and putting all the bits together is a hassle then the likelihood of this gathering dust in the pantry increases. This is easy enough that it should see use beyond just the juicer die-hards.I used this for apples and carrots and both were juiced easily and effectively. I've found this machine to be an excellent value for a competent juicer that looks quite sharp on the countertop as well.

I love everything about this juicer. My only recommendation is that it should have a net as strainer that would hold the extra chaff coming off the fruit.

I like this juicer a lot.. But you better wear an apron. It shots stuff out the vent holes while you're juicing. The noise isn't the worst, but it's not the quietest either. The juice is good...but depends on what you're juicing. Some stuff comes out thick. It's easy to use, but pay attention to assembling.Value for the money... Id expect a little better for what I paid.
