I’ll be honest, I got this to replace an AC that was still working because I liked the extra abilities that this one has. Mainly I wanted the app control so that I have the ability to monitor and change settings remotely. It also comes with a remote which is nice too, but the app was the ultimate decider in purchasing this unit. It was not complicated to change the old unit for this one. My husband was able to change it out pretty quickly with minimal help from me. He says he could do it himself, but for safety of both the unit and him, I think it was best to have had help. I already had the Smart HQ app for my oven/microwave and dishwasher, so it wasn’t difficult to add to my app. It hasn’t gotten hot here yet, so it really hasn’t been used much. I’m very excited about having the extra options available to me this summer and I can’t wait to put them to use. No more worrying about what I left the temp on or coming home to a hot house. I can’t adjust it as needed from wherever I am. Awesome.

Im really impressed with this unit. I swapped out my old window A/C for this one and love it. Install is pretty straightforward. Setting up the wifi is pretty easy and setting up with Alexa works perfectly. So far it's quieter than my old unit. I also compared the air temperature to my old window unit and the air coming out is 3 degrees cooler. Since it's in my garage it gets dirty quick so I appreciate the easy to remove filter. Very happy so far.

This window AC went into my living room frame without much hassle, thanks to the kit it comes with. It’s hefty though so having a second person to help is a non-negotiable.It cools my space fast, keeping the air crisp even on sticky days. The smart app is a definite upgrade from my old air conditioning unit, now I can set it to chill the room before I walk in, no waiting around. Linking it to Alexa means I can skip digging for the remote in the dark, just have to issue a quick voice command instead. The eco mode shuts off the fan when it’s cool enough, which seems to trim my electric bill a bit.
Having multiple fan speeds and cooling modes provides some flexibility and it’s quiet enough not to drown out my shows. The washable filter is easy to access and clean. All in, it’s a good and affordable option for anyone looking for an efficient unit with smart functions that you’ll actually use.

This window air conditioner is great! It is much better than upright portable air conditioners that require venting outside via exhaust hose/ducting. Just in time for summer! I am very happy with this air conditioner.

Like others have mentioned, this AC unit is heavy. Almost 70lbs so get a helper! Installed in a 30x50 shop and it works flawlessly. Temps got to around 75 and the AC unit had no problems keeping the shop cooled. Controls are easy enough to use and the smart feature is sweet. Nice and quiet unit.Would buy this again.

Standard design, responsive controls, good cooling:This AC unit has a pretty standard size as far as window AC units go - it fits well and was simple to install, although it is heavy so it might be best to have a second person assist with the main placement of the unit. The window kit is easy to put on and adjust and does a good job blocking off external air from coming in and letting colder air escape. The controls on the unit provide a digital temp readout and are very intuitive, making it easy to adjust and control. The product is efficient at cooling and can handle a small-mid sized room on its own without issue.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

Excellent product! This is a very large and very heavy duty window AC unit. This seems to be very high quality and install seems simple. Be sure you have strong people to get it into the window, as it is very heavy.
