The item has a very strong metal clip on the back that holds the mic holder and mic firmly on your shoulder and you don't have to worry about it falling off. One thing I did notice is that if you are in a foot chase my mic would key up many times because the mic isn't firmly against your body, the mic kinda flops around.

This is a must-have for any LEO. Its tough and has held my mic where I needed it when I've had to deal with combative suspects. I bought these for my squad as a gift. I would highly recommend to any LEO.

Awesome product all my coworker ask about. Great when hands get tied up. Durable will stay where worn. Good rapid release. It is a tad, just a tad, bit bulky but it is cause it is durable. Not complaints delivered fast😃

This item is a must if you have a corded microphone, it's more secure that the mic clip and no need to attached and detach the microphone during use. The cord insures that it returns to the proper position.
