Product is good for the price. Customer service was great. Replaced the clip that broke for me. Sound is good. If you ride a harley this isnt the one for you. Any other bike you can hear clearly.Con is the last called option. Accidentally tap the call button twice and you call whoever you called last. Cant disable that.

*Edited and star rating increased* Received this as part of the Vine program for testing. As an individual inexpensive bluetooth communicator, the GEARELEC Shark is a decent option. It's loud, you should have no issue hearing. It did connect by bluetooth to my phone (Pixel 6 pro) and 2 other phones (Galaxy S23, iPhone 15) without issue. Speakers are a little distorted at louder volumes, but the audio quality at regular levels is fine.Unit is a little bigger than expected, but not too bad.The bad:The first unit I received would not pair with any other. After my original review, customer service reached out to me, and were absolutely amazing. If you have any issues, reach out to them first before posting a review. When I say they went out of their way to help, it's not an exaggeration. It was real customer service. After some good troubleshooting, they sent me a new unit. The original one would not pair with the new unit, confirming I received a defective one. Here's the bad:Cannot connect to some other Bluetooth communicator units. Tried pairing to a Cardo packtalk Bold (mine), Sena S10, and a Freecom (Both belonging to friends) . Made multiple attempts and was not successful in pairing with the Cardo Packtalk bold, or the Sena S-10. It did connect to the Freecom and a generic no name cheap bluetooth intercom. If you have a cardo or sena, this may not be the unit to have as an intercom for your passenger. This will also NOT pair with bluetooth GPS units like Garmin Zumos. Per customer service, it is not compatible with the Garmin Zumo.If all you need is a stand alone bluetooth helmet device for listening to music, getting phone directions, and making phone calls, this is a good cheap deal. Get 2 and talk to your passenger or give to a friend to use while riding. If you want to communicate with other riders that have non-same brand bluetooth intercom communicators, you may get mixed results.Since it won't pair with my Cardo and had customer service not been so excellent, I'd have kept the 2 star rating. As a stand alone item I give this 4 stars. If it was an option I would up it to 4.5 stars.

It's good for what it is, however the sound quality is very staticy. The battery life is very fair for the pricepoint. The connection tends to drop frequently, or when going over any bumps in the road. Overall it's a decent unit for the price, but personally I would recommend saving for a better one that will last long term

These are okay but not really ideal it says in the instructions that you can listen to your music and communicate with other riders in your group hands free but you have to switch back to music unless everyone is sharing the same music from one app from the main connection. Speakers also cut out and then squelched for a bit then go back to normal.

Fantastic audio quality and connectivity with a full face helmet! I also was not expecting the battery to last me as long as it does. I get about 2 to 3 days from just listing to music on my commute to and from work. The microphones is also really nice and I've been told the call quality is really good. I also really like the ability to change the strip to a color that matches my helmet but unfortunately it's pretty difficult to remove that plastic strip without braking it. To me it's not really a big deal because I don't really intend to swap these out often.
