I carry my paddle inside my kayak when it is on my vehicle. It is in there with lots of other gear so the case protects the paddle from scratches, etc.

Bought this for my gearlab greenland paddle. It is very precise fitting. No wiggle room for scratching. Folds if you want to take with. But if hoped for a bit more padding

Fits my 210cm Kalleq paddle snuggly. Easy to use and appears it will protect the paddle.

There aren't many nice carry cases for split 2 piece Greenland paddles out there - certainly none that I've seen that are as well engineered as the Gearlab Paddle Bag. It comes with just enough padding to know the paddles will be well protected - especially if you have a $300-600 carbon fiber Greenland paddle either from Gearlab or otherwise. It's good that each half of the paddle gets its own sleeve - preventing clattering within the bag. the shoulder strap and hand straps are comfortable and well balanced.Suggestions for improvements: have more ventilation to allow the paddle to dry faster if put wet into the case. Have a version for 2 sets of paddles?

Love this bag and the price on Amazon was excellent. It appears they are currently sold out so I’m glad I received what may have been one of their last at such a great price. You’ll notice in the photos that I now own two GearLab bags and the Akiak and Kalleq paddles. Great company.

A great bag for split greenland paddles and more protective than previous version. It is easy to adjust to fit different lengths and has a nice shoulder strap. Not a huge amount of room though, so may not fit wider and thicker wooden paddles. Also, I wish there was a mesh area like the old one to allow moisture to escape.

I have had two other gearlab paddle bags before this, their multi-bag and single bag which I got in about 2016. Those bags are nice, but this bag is a step up. The main difference with this new bag is that it's double walled, and the partition that separates the two paddle haves is also padded. So I would say this offers better protection for the paddle than previous versions which were not padded at all.As with all of gearlab's textile items the stitch and materials are really nice. It has a ykk zipper and the comfortable zipper pull. My only concern with this bag is that it doesn't have any venting like the older ones. So if I put my paddle away wet I would most likely want to take it out when I got home so the bag doesn't get musty. Overall very nice bag.

Perfect paddle bag. Fits the new Kalleq like a glove. Great features...padded, protection for paddle tip. Highly recommended!
