There isn't much function to this type of dock cover aside from looking good. My prior one was a soft cloth that padded the inside to protect from accidental scratching the screen docking my switch. Once I got a good screen protector, I wasn't as worried and wanted something cute.This is cute, fits perfectly to the dock, and the material is comfortable and soft to the touch. It comes with a pack of stickies. If you just put this over the dock, it is bound to fall off as the material is silicon and flexible versus something hard that clips over the top.The stickies peel off well and easily stick to the dock. However, peeling off the front to stick to the cover is a pain. They don't peel off easy, and it is easier to accidental peel the stickie off entirely then it is to peel the front off. It took tweezers and many tried to get each off. You also don't need all them. I used about 6-7. One in each corner. One in the middle-top and bottom. I need a extra near the bottom left because the original I put down was a little warped and not as sticky as it could be as it was my first try.It isn't super complex to stall. Stick your dot to dock front, peel front off, repeat until you have as many as you need to secure it, and place cover over the top. Afterwards, it will look cute and you can easily pull it off again. The stickies are gel-like, so they are kind of like command strips in that they are easy to pull off and replace later.

It’s super cute and well made only issue is that the silicone material of the cover doesn’t stick to the adhesive they give you in the packaging

I love this silicone cat cover for my dock, however, it’s definitely not a purchase that you NEED to have.I got it because it matches the rest of my switch aesthetic but it’s not the most useful. It’s genuinely just for aesthetics.I’m sure it helps to keep your dock from getting scratched here and there but the silicone material makes this very flimsy and it can easily come off at times so unless you’re planning to get it just for the look or to sit still and look pretty, I wouldn’t worry too much about getting a dock cover.In my personal opinion though, this was a great purchase decision because it hides my dock in plain sight while still being super cute.

This nintendo switch oled protective case is absolutely adorable! I would highly recommend to anyone who likes this esthetic. But as a warning the cat design that goes onto the dock is rubber and it only slides and sits on top of it like a lose sleeve. Also in order to dock your switch you will need to remove the part of the case around your screen which isn't a big deal.

So freaking cute!!! I bought the case that goes with the Dock cover and oh my!! It’s really soft too since it’s silicone. There’s no back cover or anything which i like because you have to take the back of the dock off to plug in your cords. It’s just a cover that slips over the front, they also give you little double sided glue adhesives so you can stick the cover on and keep it in place!
