This is my fourth Geeni smart plug but my first outdoor one. Like the others, setting it up was so quick and easy. Plug it in, a couple taps in the app and it was ready to go. I love the ability to schedule off and on times, perfect for my birdbath heater that is only needed at night.

The Geeni App does not work with Home Assistant but luckily you can pair with the Tuya app and they work just fine. I use Geeni smart plugs to control many things based on time, temperature or a few other parameters. I have only ever had one device die on me out of 20+ devices so the track record is sound.

These Geeni Outdoor Smart Plugs are perfect for controlling my Christmas lights! Setting them up was a breeze, and they work flawlessly with my smart home system. Being able to schedule the lights and control them remotely is incredibly convenient, especially during the holidays. The weatherproof design gives me peace of mind knowing they can handle the elements. The power cable is a little stiff, which some people might find annoying, but it wasn't an issue for me – just something to be aware of. Overall, I'm very happy with these smart plugs.

I like these little plugs thay bring an easy way to set up scheduled task for various lights and I even have one that controls a security camera because I don't need it on all day long. The thing that bugs me is trying to set it up. I had a hard time with both of them and then all of a sudden when I'm about to give up boom there on. It should be easier maybe it is and I just am not that savvy but just saying there are a lot of people in my shoes. However, it is a good product.

I wish I could rate their service “NO STARS”! This company does not stand behind their products. I have many Geeni products and have been pleased until I have had to contact customer service. They definitely give the customer the run around. Everything you call about must go . through the development team. They claim they will get back to you! Haha good luck with that. I’ve given up I will be swapping all my Geeni products to a company that stands behind their products! This company is a joke! Update: still waiting on Development Team! They have stopped responding to my emails! Kasa products look like a good replacement one thing for sure customer service couldn’t be any worse! I’m still trying to get this warranty claim resolved 12/5/24. SORRY customer service! Do Not buy from this incompetent company and expect them to stand behind their products! Customer service is non existent! They will not respond!

This came sooner than expected - always a joy! Easy to program.The 2 outlets in it can function as one, or individually, which I really like. It is great for Christmas lights, if you want them to come on different times. It also allows a variable on/off schedule, as well as a straight-up timer. Nice piece of engineering, and reasonably priced.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I have a lot of different smart devices in my home, both Google- and Amazon-compliant. I have found that Geeni products work with both Alexa and Google without issue. Setup takes seconds (since I already have the app installed, and a large base of Geeni devices already operational) and it seems like the interface has only grown more seamless between the latest Geeni products, and my Echo Dot and Google Home devices.In fact, I no longer buy any smart bulbs, switches, or plugs except the Geeni brand, because I know I can rely on them to just...work.As for this particular product, it was just what I was looking for to control the Christmas lights in front of my house, without having to worry the weather would fry a lesser device. It's solid, seems very durable, and will definitely be part of all of my outdoor decorating from here on out. No more playing around with clunky timers; this not only allowed me to set up a schedule, but because of Alexa/Google integration, also allows me to control them directly from the comfort of my cozy chair in front of my fireplace, just by telling Alexa or Google I want them on or off.It's basically all you could hope for from this type of plug.

Si funciona con Alexa México, el único detalle es que se tiene que vincular con Alexa desde la aplicación de Geenie dado que Alexa Mx no encuentra la skill.Fuera de eso cumple con su propósito muy robusto y funciona sin problemas.
