I used this 1.8" Double Thick Cooling Egg Gel Seat Cushion today while working at my kitchen table, and I have to say—it made a noticeable difference. Sitting for long periods on a hard chair is rough, but this cushion definitely kept my tailbone and hips from hurting, and I didn’t experience any swelling in my feet like I sometimes do.While it didn’t completely relieve my lower back pain (which tends to flare up no matter what if I sit too long), it did make sitting for extended periods much more comfortable overall. The cushion stayed cool and breathable, which was a nice bonus.Funny enough, I noticed just how much of a difference it made when I didn’t use it during dinner—I felt the discomfort creeping back immediately and had to grab it.Overall, I’m really glad I have this. I’ll definitely keep using it anytime I’m working at the table or sitting for long periods. It’s not a cure for back pain, but it absolutely helps with comfort and support.

It is a no go for a standard office chair. I could see its usefulness for a wooden chair with a solid surface. It will improve on that. I guess because I had it pre-purposed in my mind for added comfort in my office chair. To me it just goes flat with no added support. I'm not saying it isn't thick. Right out of the box it is nice and thick. What I am commenting on is that when you sit on it, it collapses to almost no effect. My opinionated review is based on my disappointment about what I was hoping for with my office chair. I have been trying different pads for quite some time, and none of them are perfect. So, I am going to pursue my quest for the perfect office chair pad.

At about an inch and a half thick, it provides good comfort and support. The ventilation is effective, and the included cover has a zipper and a non-slip bottom to keep it in place. It works well for long drives and wheelchair use, which is why I got it for my father. However, I find the thickest option a bit too thick for my preference, and the medium size might have been a better fit. I've worn out many memory foam seat cushions. This gel cushion is soft enough to support without "bottoming" out. I got it for a chair in another room, butt decided to keep it for my office chair after trying it there. I'm sitting on it as I type this review. I love it! Very comfortable.

I got this to put on my work desk chair, but although it says standard size, it was too small to fit the whole chair seat which left some akward sides around the cushion. The material that it's made out of is nice and cushioned, but because of how large the holes are it wasn't comfortable for me to sit on for more than an hour. I put it against the back of my chair instead and it's working great as a lumbar pillow.

The thickest really is thick. I got the thickest cushion, which for some reason is not available in the largest size.I will say that the cushion certainly is thick. The honeycomb pattern actually makes it sturdier than I expected, though it still feels nice and soft. And, the non-slip bottom keeps it in place.The main drawback is the size. I am not a large person, by any stretch of the imagination; I'm actually rather svelte. But, I feel like I am perched on top of this tall pad, and almost hanging off of the sides. I feel like if it were the same size as the XXL, it would be great. But, as it is, it just does not feel wide enough to give good support.If my backside were bigger, I couldn't imagine how inadequate the size would feel, with glutes and legs spilling over the sides.

Excellent comfort. I got this for my wooden seated chair, a secondary workstation I often need to sit and it was not at all comfortable. This seat cushion is an excellent addition to this space, where I now look forward to using.It also raises the seat height slightly for me, making the desk level more comfortable for my arm and shoulder. An excellent item for any workspace where you need to sit for long periods.
