Good Dress Bolo. I got this bolo to be part of a costume. Its made very well, the metal isnt to thick or bulky but also not too flimsy and weak. The length of the lanyard is good. easy to use. great accessory.

I love the look and quality of this bolo, great size, great shine, the only gripe I have is about the rooster detail, from a distance looks amazing, but close up my wife noticed that the face is just pointy and doesn't have much detail, overall would still recommend for the price.

One of my best friends has a posse of chickens. He still has not broken even after 2 years on the eggs to cost ratio. Also sanity has to factored into that equation. Chickens can drive you crazy. Soooooooo……we thought this bolo tie would be the perfect gift. The craftsmanship is really good, and you cant help but smile when you see it. Hopefully he will hang in there with these chickens.

Nice looking bolo tie. Not heirloom quality, but looks and wears just fine. I just started wearing bolo ties with the Western style vests I wear, and this is a nice addition to my modest collection of bolo ties.The size of the piece and cord is roughly the same as shown in the Amazon listing. This is on the larger size for bolo ties, and probably the largest one I currently own. The cord is long enough for me and I am taller than most. The metal looks fine. It is lightweight, perhaps some sort of zinc alloy. Nicely crafted and looks pretty good, even up close. I ordered the “Eagle Bolo Tie” which has a mixture of gold and silver tones. The gold color really stands out. Most everything except for a wedding band that I own is silver, and often with a darker patina. This is much brighter, a much larger gold colored area, than I normally would wear. I have gotten some nice compliments on it during the short time I’ve worn it. The tips on the end are larger than other bolo ties I have, but they’re normally hidden under the vest I’m wearing. They too are gold colored and really can stand out. I do like the clip that keeps the cord in place, a bit better than the usual (at least with the ones I already own) thin looped metal.The listing also says “braided leather type material” It’s certainly a braided look, and I suppose “leather type material” could me some chemical laden stretchy faux material. I’m positive that no cow gave his life in the production of this leather braided cord. There was an unpleasant smell to it when I first received it, but after a short while I can’t smell it at all.This is an attractive bolo tied for an attractive price. I think it looks good on me and I certainly can recommend this bolo tie.

Hello All,The GelConnie Eagle Bolo Tie has a sparkling golden eagle motif on a silver Bolo buckle base with a lone red ruby plastic faux-crystal at the center bottom. The black leather laces are very well knotted and oiled for a shiny finish. The metallic alloy used seems to be some sort of zinc variety by my estimates.I really found it unique how the rear of the Bolo Buckle has a clip to set the Bolo Tie at the right adjustment size when worn. My middle picture submitted above shows the rear of the clipping mechanism to the buckle utilized.The two Bolo Tie metallic tip ends also have quite a bit of weight to them when held. This is a very fine Bolo Tie and perhaps the golden aesthetics are a bit over the top but they'll do.
