I tested the stones and as a gemologist all tested as glass.

As you can see with the light table, these are just cheap glass. I've shown them both flat on their faces and on their edges, both lit and unlit (there is color cast by my rainbow lamp, disregard it).Colors are red, blue, green, clear, and pinkShapes are round (two sizes), oval (two sizes), pear (two sizes)Compared to the listing photos and descriptions, these sad bits of glass are not accurate at all. Will use them in my beadwork and treat them like rivolis (silver-backed faceted glass), but they're a huge disappointment when I wanted a good variety of shapes/colors to play with

The stones I received were much, much smaller than shown.Instead of 7-9 stones, I received about 30 pcs of very small stones. There is a good assortment of styles and colors, just very small vs the images shown on the order page.

I was supposed to receive 12 to 14 gemstones, however, i received several dozen very small stones. In addition, i have yet to find an Alexandrite out of this and those previous purchases e.g. Refractive index 1.74-1.76.

Quick shipping, big stones. Received 4 green amethyst in correct "bottle green" color; 4 red topaz, and 15 darkish blue topaz, about the same shades as the plastic jewels in crowns for preschoolers. The stones are nice, but the lack of color variety and shape variety was disappointing, especially since I prefer oval or drop-shaped stones.

So a few things -First, the description (which was very specific, but used across multiple listings of different products from this seller) was misleading for a given value of misleading - because it was used so indiscriminately I didn't really know whether to trust it.Second - the stones are huge, which is what I was looking for, so I got what I hoped.Third, the colors are very non-natural for many of the stones, and I doubt the authenticity of those.Fourth, the color variation was limited - half the stones were blue, and nearly half were clear, with no reds or greens, and the amethyst (which I think might even be real) was so light as to be nearly clear.Fifth - the shape variation was nice - there were some of each trillion, square, rectangular, pear, cushion, and oval.Overall, I think some of the stones are actually real, albeit ones that would be hard to sell individually because of the lack of color. The bright almost teal ones are not colors I've seen elsewhere so I don't know if they are real, but they are pretty and they are large.Ultimately, I actually got mostly what I hoped for, and frankly more than I really expected, although at least some reds or pinks would have been nice. These are large and will do for what I wanted, and were reasonably priced. I might even get more of these in the hopes of some pinks or reds or greens.

These are advertised as gemstones, but they are glass. The seller gave me a prompt refund without question, but be careful ordering from India. I don’t know why I keep buying from them.
