I have been buying raw untreated stones for a number of years now. I was under the belief that this was a raw unheated and untreated stone. Yet apparently it was colour enhanced with some kind of coating! For the cost of the stone it was not worth the hassle of trying to refund. Yet I am saddened and frustrated that someone felt the need to try to alter something that was naturally beautiful. Which had no need for enhancement or a false coating just to get a new home. I hope that this was a fluke and will not happen again

I would have gave it a 5 star review. I just don't know enough yet about exactly what I got. If it truly is a ruby uncut and raw, it interesting display piece.

I got a nice small crystal along with a certificate of authenticity. It's small, but nice. It's definitely red. Certificate says color enhanced and it certainly is! Some of the color bleeds off. In all, I'm satisfied.
