Works well as long as you don't put too much OCV through it. Oops, my bad. But Ryan worked with me and sent out a new board. Excellent customer service. Now I just need to remember not to put 35 OCV to it.It is small enough to fit into an Apache 1800 case that I'm making into a 12 volt power distribution box for portable use. Tried the amatuer radio on 80 through 10 meters while charging a LiFePo4 battery and it is "Radio Quiet" as advertised. If I need another I'll buy this again.

I paired this with a 100w folding solar panel, adding some adapter cables for the panel and battery connectors. I can now keep my 20Ah LiFePo4 battery topped off all day using with my HF ham radio setup.

Using this on an occasional-use low-draw piece of equipment. Charges fine using solar or with a DC power source.

If you are a portable Ham radio operator with solar 150w or less this is the only Solar Charge Controller that will give you almost totally clean of RFI issues from your solar controller. It does have a few RFI artifacts on 80-40m but most were S2 and sporadic but all low enough S units to work on top of the RFI. Higher bands I found nothing but clean air. This is the only portable controller I have found to achieve this. It’s made in the US and their customer support is amazing. Want real quality and talk to real people who designed and make them? Go no further than Genasun.

Got this based on good review to solar charge my Bioenno 20ah.Using it with a Renogy 100w pannel it work great for charging. As for charging noise ...the 160,80 meter band are full of strong interference and 40,12M got light ones.At least the 20m band is good.Shipping was crazy fast !

The charge controller is set to charge LifePO4 batteries at 14.2 volts. Full charge is considered 14.4 volts but 14.2 is about 95% charged and gives you a couple of thousand more cycles. Perfect for charging batteries for use with emergency communications as it puts out almost no electronic interference to your radios. I love this charger...

It worked as expected. Really like the size of the controller.
