I’m not sure if this was the right switch. It didn’t fit the hole in the panel exactly and when I hooked up the battery the starter came on without touching anything. Maybe it was defective too. I put the original back in and everything was fine. A mystery!!

The switch I received was defective. Waiting to see if it will get replaced free of charge.Where's the quality control?!?!Update:A return was authorized but I had to pay $1 more than the part costs to ship it back. I wanted to give them a chance to see the part at their cost of shipping so they could notify the manufacturer of the defect but I have no way of contacting the seller to ask for free shipping. There is instructions to contact seller on the return instructions but the buttons/links Amazon says to use do not exist.I'm buying another with fingers crossed it was not also made on a Friday.

I saw another review on this product on a Motorhome RV and thought I’d give it a shot. The generator would start and run fine on both dash switch and mini switch on generator but would send out power. I replaced the dash switch and bam! It’s working fine, after years of not working. Best 18.00 I ever spent!
