This is not a pigtail, it is just the receptacle. A pigtail has the wires attached to the receptacle. Very disappointing to advertise it is a pigtail then received it and can't use it.

This was the correct plug for the above application however trying to find the correct terminals to go in it was a challenge. The recommended ones on Amazon are not the right terminals and will not fit.

Worked great as a replacement connector for my 2011 Expedition seat heater module. Motorola makes the seat temp module for both the GM and Ford SUVs for this period.

If you are doing this repair, you will need the pins and the crimping tool, and by the time you spend that 30 to 40 bucks, you might as well just spend the 40 bucks and get the wires/connector assembly (link below) instead. It's not as easy as you think to replace pins on wires, even for someone who has experience with cables and connectors. It is much easier to just splice and solder the wires together and heat some shrink tubing over them.https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0031H2FES/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

After a bit of research, I found that a common reason for heated/cooled seats to fail in DTS and Escalates (and Ford Expeditions which oddly use the same hardware) is a burnt connector at this point. The burnt connector melts this pigtail, forcing you to cut it off and replace it. On the DTS, this connector is under the passenger seat, though it needs to be intact for heat/cool to work on either front seat.As well as this item, you will need 8 x 14ga (Mouser 829-15304711) and 2 x 12ga (Mouser 829-15304713-L) connectors. I couldn’t find them anywhere, and had to order directly from the manufacturer online. Make sure you order spares, the 12ga connectors are difficult to properly install. On my DTS, I found it much easier to remove my seat to do this work – I had to also order a T-50 socket to remove the seat. I also added some dielectric grease to reduce the chance of the connection failing again in the future. The repair took me around 1.5 hours including the time to remove/replace the passenger seat. I’m happy to have my heated seats back in time for winter!

I used this to replace the burnt plug on my 2008 Cadillac Escalade heated seats. Also purchased the pins that go inside the plug. Cut back the old wires, crimped on the new pins and inserted into the plug. Easy. Took about 1hr for the complete repair.
