Each easy-to-use set includes a hardened steel hole cutter, a matched mandrel/anvil pair, a hardwood backer block and an assortment of grommets. We offer three kit sizes (1/4, 1/2 and 3/8-inch) as well as the option to purchase additional grommets.

I've never made a gromet before and this kit made it easy. The hole punch was plenty sharp enough to cut right through this quality leather wallet and the brass grommet should out last the wallet. I will say that the kit is comically small but it's big enough to do the job! :)

I’m using this kit to add a clear vital window to a grow tent for my reptile. Once I got the hang on using it, it goes really fast. I’m hoping this is rust free since I’m using it with a humidifier tent for a snake but so far it worked out perfect!

Bought this kit to add eyelets to a couple of hats for drawstrings. Depending on material, the hole punch requires firmly striking the punch multiple times with a plastic mallet. Wish the punch was a little longer. I was concerned about mashing a finger after the first couple of strikes so I lightly clamped the punch with a pair of Vise-Grips to avoid unnecessary cursing. The small piece of hardwood was troublesome when trying to punch the holes in hat brims. It tends to travel underneath the brim when you least expect it. Should I have future use for eyelets, I'll find a larger piece of scrap hardwood instead. Rest of the project went smoothly and look professionally installed.

Since General doesn't sell a grommet kit that contains all three sizes, this is what you need to complete the set.

The package had a gaping hole in the plastic shell and lost 1/3 of the grommets included - fell out during shipment. Other than that it is a good product.

This is an awesome little kit to get started. If I had a request, it would be to get grommets that were a little longer, as these are hard to get through 2 pieces of material, and some gunmetal gray and stainless steel choices. Otherwise the tools are perfect for what I wanted to do.

These grommets worked out good. They are 2 piece grommets which roll (and not split) when installed. After reading other reviews, I sharpened the hole cutter on my grinder before using it and it worked great, punched holes through 2 layers of heavy duty poly-canvas with no problem. Good price too.

The only complaint is that the cutting tool never seems sharp enough to actually make a hole in the fabric. I gave up halfway through and started just marking the holes with scissors. The grommets themselves are very nice and the installed perfectly. I used this set to make a couple of corsets for my local renaissance festival, and they held up quite nicely.

El paquete llegó pronto. Los ojales completos y embona perfectamente el martillo con el ojal y el yunque.El unico pero que le pongo (y es cosa de uso mío, no del producto) es que sirve exclusivamente para la medida de los ojales y no de otros, a menos que se use con un poco de maña.

qualität gut, funktioniert. breiter ösenrand, besser als diejenigen die in deutschland sonst zu bekommen sind. verarbeitung einfach, eine ösenpresse erleichtert das leben dennoch. empfehle eine lochzange zum vorschneiden zu benutzen!
