I returned this because it was too large for my Black Max 3500/4600 watt generator that is a little less than a 24" cube shape. It was quite floppy even with the drawstring pulled snug. I ended up making a cover, leaving the exhaust end open so the generator could breathe, from scrap OSB.

All descriptions and images in the listing are accurate and the product arrived on time.I live in an area that is subject to hurricanes and tropical storms, so keeping my generator in top working order is a high priority for me. This generator cover makes that ongoing maintenance (I start it and run it for 15 minutes every two weeks) a lot quicker and easier because it is designed to stay in place while the generator is running. Simply open the side to access the control panel, then roll up the side to access the pull cord and provide airflow. After shut down, just take 30 seconds and reverse the process.The material is very sturdy and all seams seem to be well sewn. I have left the unit outside during rain storms and it proved to be water and wind proof. I like the snug fit because it ensures that it doesn't flop around while the generator is running, but you need to MEASURE before you order to make sure this cover will fit your generator.I don't run my generator with the cover on for more than a few minutes (although I am sure it wouldn't be a problem to do so). But I absolutely do run it with the cover in place when I do my routine power up and test every couple of weeks.Recommended at the listed price.

The cover started smoking and melting within moments of putting it on while my generator was running. Gave off a nasty smell. Generator is 9500wDo not recommend.

It fit well. Just make sure you measure your generator. I like that it is waterproof. It has held up so far in the elements. I feel it is worth the money.
