Depends on what you like. For me, it was too quiet, and not enough vibration to feel the watch alarms.

Hello. I originally had a SEAC Screen. But after Breaking 3 of them within a year, The store gave me Credit. And I used to purchase the Genesis Centauri. First time I used it I started Loving it!!! Easy to switch modes. Doesn't Lock in FD Mode like the Screen. Easy to read. Backlit. I wear it when I leave the house. In the Pool. Upload the Logs onto my Android Phone. I can wear it the rest of the day. I charge when I get home. Don't know how long the battery lasts in Watch Mode. My Only Issue is the Wrist Strap length. I wear against my skin. And only have a little over an inch left. I May need to get the Extender to wear over a wetsuit in Scuba Class. If you go to Genesis Scuba website, You can Register the unit with them. Update: I contacted Sherwood Scuba. They told me how to Clear the Logs. In the Settings mode there is a "Log CLR" option.

Just completed a dive trip to Komodo Indonesia on the Damai liveaboard. Did 28 dives and the computer works great. Easy to set up and use. For the price it does all i need it to. My wife also has one that is about 3 years old. The batteries are rechargeable which is great. I'd buy it again.

This is the best dive computer I’ve used. It is what I would have designed. It is great and accurate underwater which is most important. The buzz warning on too fast an ascent etc are audible and helpful.The Bluetooth feature is awesome. You can connect to your smartphone and adjust settings, download your logs to the app. There are no additional connectors etc to buy. The app is free as well. Finally, the battery is rechargeable and you never have to worry about getting the battery changed and the computer hydro tested.I have a ScubaPro Meridian, which is a premier dive computer but changing batteries is a hassle. Also the connector bridge let’s you download dives to a flat file. No direct connection to an app. However it’s a great dive computer underwater.I would say this Genesis is as good underwater as the Meridian and overall a much better computer.I did over 10 dives with it and it Perf OU very well.

I have this same dive watch/computer and LOVE it. Very easy to use and see underwater. I bought this one for my wife.

It works well enough as a dive computer and dive log can be pulled into phones / tablets using an app called dive story. However, the app doesn't have any option to export the dive logs and the dive computer is not supported by the popular divelog application subsurface. It seems that there is no reasonable way to get the dive log off the dive story app, which doesn't make much sense for people who want to keep dive logs long term.So, if you are looking for a strictly backup DC or not interested in long term logging, this might work. Otherwise, better look elsewhere.BTW, genesis centauri is essentially the same watch as deep 6 excursion and crest CR4. They're just all rebranded. As such, all three are in the same boat in terms of dive log access.
