Your cart is empty.This exhaust extension allows for safe venting of exhaust fumes from an unoccupied enclosed area - this will allow your expensive unit to stay dry and secure while maintaining portability. This adapter is designed for use on stock muffler ports that are less than 15/16 inch (24 mm) diameter, weld bead diameter under 1-3/8 inch (35 mm) and length of less than 1 inch (25-1/2 mm) long. See pictures for further explanation. All dimensions are with the spark arrester removed. The spark arrester will have to permanently removed for this modification. The buyer will receive: a custom low profile exhaust to tubing stub, the specified length of galvanized 1" I.D. indoor/outdoor flexible exhaust tubing and the proper size u-bolt clamp.

Worked perfect for our Honda 2000 Generator! We had it simply welded on at our Honda Equipment Shop and got the extension tube. We vented our generators exhaust up our old chimney in the work shop and can now run the generator safely inside and under cover and secure from being silent outside and no more fear of the generator being stolen.

I have the Predator 9000 watt generator with electric start. This worked perfectly, but keep in mind the collar has to be welded to the generator exhaust tube, it will not slip and clamp on.

Didn't fit the muffler but the quality was good, had to spend extra money to have it welded to the arch arrestor cover to make it fit.

The adapter is very nice quality machine work. I purchased the exhaust adapter kit because there was a review that said it worked for Westinghouse 9500. I have a Westinghouse 9500DF and the muffler nipple is too large for the adapter to slide over. (Yes, I did remove the spark arrestor). I am having the adapter machined on a lathe to ensure that it fits as this seems to be a very good solution to the exhaust extension. Just verify your muffler nipple outer diameter before ordering this part to ensure that the sleeve inner diameter can fit your muffler. I included the caliper reading of the outer diameter of the Westinghouse 9500DF exhaust muffler nipple. The second picture shows the inside of the sleeve. The purple magic marker is where the adapter bumps into the wider muffler nipple.

As others have mentioned, this did not fit correctly on a Duromax generator. I had to ream out the attachment to make it fit. Once that was done, it worked fine.

Perfect to weld on your muffler to run exhaust were you want...be sure to remove your spark gauze as that's going to clog up soon anyway. works great on our Predator, now so quiet with exhaust routed up over camper to roof via the flex pipe to pipe attached to the rear ladder with a small 1'' tractor rain capper on top..and no smell!

The parts are good quality. I had a welder do the welding (see images). He did melt through the thin muffler steel, but then backfilled it with metal using a MIG welder. I had to cut the muffler protection grid because the adapter was bigger than the factor opening. That was not a big deal. Painted with heat tolerant paint (Rustoleum bbq grill paint). So you may need an angle grinder and paint.
