Doesn't come with the white "bullet" that is clearly shown in the main picture. As this is from the "Genie Store," one would expect better. Called Genie, and they immediately tell you that kit doesn't contain the bullet. Excuse me, your Amazon listing shows otherwise. They didn't even want to look at it.Had as close to zero caring about the issue. I wasn't even calling so much for the part, but why the box is mis-advertised. Wasted a whole weekend & gas because of this. Maybe have Big Box stores carry this tiny part

Item does not come with the white plastic piece to join both ends of belt. It’s shown in pictures but does not come with kit.

The belt on my older genie garage door opener broke after owning it for 12 years... The specific belt model doesn't exist anymore. So I bought this 8' kit, same teeth and width, about 8" too long... OMG is it hard to cut.

I have a 8’ door but only had a 7’ opener. My SUV with roof rack barely fit before. Wasn’t too bad to install with a little common sense and a few tools. Would be easier with two people but I still managed.

I have a genie model 2024 garage door opener. It's 11 years old. The drive belt stripped out at the head. Not unusual considering the age. Looking for a replacement belt I found that the drive belt is no longer available. After a little more research I found this extension kit for other models. The drive belt in this kit is identical to the one used in the 2024. You just need to trim it to length.I received the kit, trimmed it to length and had my door up and running within the hour. I threw the other parts that came with the kit away.Why is there no placement belt available on the market? I have to believe the model 2024 is pretty common.

I have a Genie ReliaG 800, 2022/2024/2042 series that needed a new belt. Genie and all vendors have told me the belt is discontinued and I’d have to buy a new unit. I gave this kit a shot and the belt is identical. All I had to do was cut to size for my 7-foot door and reuse the metal bullet.
