Was an exact OEM replacement and worked almost perfectly right out of the box, and was pretty easy to replace. I gave it 4 stars only because it required some adjusting with the adjustment screws for the backpack leaf blower to idle smoothly and run the engine at the right RPM at full-throttle. I had my mechanic do the adjusting (I don't have the proprietary tool to adjust the carb), and that could be an added expense and inconvenience for some folks. But it has held it's adjustment for a little over 6 months now, and expect it to continue to perform perfectly.

I bought a used PB-580T Backpack Blower. When I buy used product, I never know how old some of the parts are. I will put new parts on to have zero time on that part.

After fighting with my blower and having it not want to start, I replaced the carburetor with this new one. It was literally a five-minute job and the blower started right up after the swap. No need to make any adjustments to get it tuned up -- it just worked perfectly out of the box.

Replaced it with no issues. Started on first pull for the next two starts within the first month. One month later, it’s no longer working. Very disappointed.

I had originally installed a tune-up kit on my PB-580T thinking that was the problem with Echo Leaf Blower I had but after installing the tuneup kit (Air Filter, Gas filter and Spark Plug), the leaf blower wouldn't do anything which was odd since it would start up before, it just wasnt running strong. I ordered the new carburator since it was an OEM bolt on unlike the knock-offs selling for much cheaper and I'm glad I did as it was literally plug and play. Of note, keep your exisiting gaskets as the carburetor didn't come with new gaskets.

This is still cheaper better option if you have to replace the cheap knock offs every season . my carburator didn't come with gaskets. Make sure you get the correct gaskets if replacing them !! Factory parts usually just work the first time

Great carburetor the right one for echo pb 580. I had ordered a different carburetor for half the price but it did not fit right. Carburetor is expensive but the right fit And quality.
