Worked very well. 2011 Honda Pilot LX showed code P0847 - checked transmission fluid level and that was good. I used needle-nose pliers and small flat-tip screwdriver to release the connector to the switch (measured VDC at connector to determine if issue was in wiring).I removed the splash shield and used a 22mm socket and made quarter turn to I tighten and loosened and removed switch with left hand (small rag to catch a few drops of transmission fluid).Installed new switch with new washer ring and tightened by hand snugged and quarter-turn with 22 mm socket.Cleared code with scan tool and took several test drives at various speeds. The Switch is for third clutch, and on this vehicle, is the lowest switch with dark blue connector.Switch is easy to replace, but access is difficult. I managed to snake my hands through hoses to replace the part.

As you expected to be, great quality original Honda items, I used them to replace the 4th and 5th clutch on my Acura MDX and the 5th was a tricky one to get, but once you are able to see where they are, it's a piece-of- cake the only thing is that I do not bought the washer make sure to buy that too, as the sensor does not have the washer and you would need it.

The sensor is in a tight area and somewhat of pain to change, but it's doable with a 22mm wrench. You have to bend down the plastic undercover for access. I reused the old crush washer, but you should really get a new one. Check Engine light turned itself off after taking a quick toot and starting the engine again.

The Honda Odyssey 6-speed automatic transmission has six fluid pressure switches. This part here, black color, part # 28610-R36-004 is one of three that are installed on the case block of the transmission itself, one on the front side, and 2 on the rear side, for gears 2,3,4 (some references say 2,4, 5, or circuits A, C, D).The other three are blue in color, part # 28600-R94-004, and are installed on the selenoid block. These tend to stop functioning properly which causes the transmission to be hesitant. My 2015 Odyssey has less than 60K miles on it when the transmission started acting. The dealer changed the oil and advised that the next step was to change the selenoid (estimated over $3,200.00 parts and labor). The generic code reader gave me an Error in Circuit A (second gear), did my research online, purchased two of these switches, and replaced the two switches next to each other on the rear side of the case block (Circuit A and 3 or 5 a correction is highly appreciated here), Total cost was around $100, my labor is free. Took me about one hour and the car is like new again.Highly recommended and well worth every penny.

My check engine light came on and my Drive light was flashing. The code told me I needed this and after watching a YouTube video and seeing how easy it was to replace the part I ordered it and did the work myself in the driveway. I am not very mechanically inclined and usually take my car to the dealership for more involved work that me or my husband can’t manage or don’t want to deal with but this was so simple. Cleared the code and it has been fine ever since. Saved myself a bunch of money because who knows how much the dealership would of charged for something so simple.

I installed this because I had a code pop up on the dash. After replacing the part I still have hard shifting going in and out of 3rd. Will get a scan tool and update the review and tell if the new switch is good or bad.
