This is a beautiful, well-made checkbook cover. It is soft, yet durable and will last for many years. The color is bright yellow, but not sickening bright. It easily fits my checks along with a register. You could throw some cash or cards in with it too.

I ordered this because today's checkbook covers fail to provide a pen loop! After searching for quite some time and checking reviews and watching "how it's made" videos, I decided to give this IKEPOD checkbook cover a try. SO GLAD I DID! This is made with obvious care. The stitching is even and adequately secures the layers of fabric and leather. Corners are beautifully turned. The pockets are large enough to hold the checks and a register. The pen loop will hold even a "fat" pen. And - fully loaded with a new register and new book of checks - the whole thing folds up into just slightly over 1/2". In my opinion, one should skip the pricey low quality checkbook covers offered by the check companies and instead get an IKEPOD genuine leather checkbook cover that looks and feels classy and will most likely last for many years.

Wow, this is a simple yet amazing leather checkbook holder. The feel of it is so buttery soft, and the presentation is off the charts that I promise you this will make a great present. The price point is outstanding as well.When I opened my shipping box, I was greeted by a very nice presentation. First, the whole thing is sealed in a plastic wrap. Inside the plastic wrap is a faux cloth envelope with a velcro closure. Inside is the leather checkbook, which is wrapped in tissue paper with a sticker seal. The checkbook itself is simple, but the workmanship is up to my standards (soft leather, even stitching, smells nice, beautiful and even color stain). The cloth envelope is so nice that I intend to store my checkbook inside it, although it could be used for storing passports, etc.I would not hesitate to order this as a gift because both the product and presentation is so nice. I give this an enthusiastic five stars.

So as classy a check holder can be and be presented, this is it. From the moment I uncovered its wrapping and the outer little case it slips into and Velcro’s shut, I was entirely impressed. I also didn’t think this would be something to gift someone but this is really nice ! I’d love giving this to someone because it’s a guarantee they will like it. The quality of the leather is lovely to smell (leather sniffers) and its presentation and attention to detail is top notch. The only thing I regret a bit is I didn’t go with a more wild color. I wasn’t sure what to expect so I went with the safe black color. Perhaps I’ll give this as a gift and get the yellow one I initially liked. Alright, so as much as you can love a checkbook holder, I do! Very nice surprise and a GREAT find!!

i got what i ordered and in a timely manner, no complains. however, the description says it's leather, but it feels "funny" to the touch. maybe there was something else in the description that i havent paid attention to... otherwise it's ok, but not a "5" or "4" stars, just an average...
