Once my maintenance package was up for free oil changes I wanted to do my own. The cost for complete oil change was close to $80 and the drive there was 45 min each way and then 2-3 hr wait. This came to my door with the oil plug crush washer. I did my own oil change ( I have been doing them on other vehicles for over 20 years) in less than 30 min and spent less than $35 with filter and full synthetic oil. The crush washer called for 25ftlbs torque and so that seemed a bit high but thats what Nissan said. The filter in installed easy. Run down till it stops and then 1/2-3/4 turn past stop. So far no issues.

I was pleasantly surprised that included was a replacement oil plug washer. I noticed that the filter washer was an O-ring, very nice. Good quality and of course fits perfectly. I am using full synthetic oil (Mobil 1 for trucks, 5W-30).

Exact same filter from dealer for 2020 murano Even includes washer which dealer takes out of the box and charges me a dollar. Only buying from here for now on. Better prices here.
