Pulling this relay out of engine compartment fuse box is a great way to disable your model of Hyundai/Kia with a steel key and “turn-to-start” ignition systems. There has been a wave of thefts nationwide of certain year/model Hyundais and Kias. Primarily because that some models built before 2020 did not have an immobilizing device that would prevent the car from starting if keys were not near the vehicle. Before my 2016 Santa Fe gets hot-wired like 1976 Pontiac I decided to put Club 3000 on the steering wheel and I yank this relay out and take it with me. And I bought few spare ones in case I lose main one and get stuck

This is the second time I've bought this model relay. First time for the starter, this time for the blower motor. Starter relay was replaced July 2019. Blower motor relay was replaced June 2022. Both have been working fine since replacement.
