i originally bought top hats by Monroe. they are crap. within 3 days (maybe sooner) they started to bulge/mushroom. not sure if they can't support the weight of the car or what, but nothing has changed except the struts in my 2004 forester xt.these guys are perfect and not much else to say but spend the money on guaranteed to work parts. i wasted days waiting and not able to drive my car because of the failed monroe parts.

Dramatic change in steering feel, far more responsive. If you're in the swapping out springs and/or struts, might as well toss these on, well worth the upgrade.
