They are true to the sizing chart, the elastic band is really strong however and scrunches up the shoes a tad. I have not worn them on the shoes outside but it looks like if you were to step off the floor for a smoke break or whatever you would just need to slip these on and not worry about switching shoes.

Product runs on the smaller size. Bought the xl, I wear a size 11 and it’s a stretch to get it on.
