Have used these for about1.5 years of solid BMX racing under my riding pants, fit a little tight so you may need to suck it in a bit when initially putting them on. Have gone down hard twice while wearing them and got right back up. They are flexible and allow full peddling sprints, could be used under riding shorts for MTB riding as well I imagine. I recommend these to younger and old if you are doing any sort of racing, mtb riding, or stunt riding, would probably work well snowboarding/skiing as well.

As someone who is constantly pushing the envelope on a downhill bike these padded shorts have saved me several bruised hips from falls.I have worn and own numerous brands, and this is by far my favorite.

I had a nasty mtb crash last summer, was suffering from road rash and major bruising for 8-9 weeks. And purchased this after the incident. About 800 miles so far (2-3 times riding per week).I dont notice it while riding. I wiped out last month on a rocky downhill. Landed on my hip and elbow (I had elbow guards from Dainise) No bruises or road rash, no pain. I guess it works.

I bought these for hip protection since I had a hip replacement in 2019 and don’t want to give up mountain biking.They work great for that but they also have a really comfy chamois (to me) and they fit great.

I wear these in case I fall (I'm 60ish years old) and they are quite comfortable and provide all the protection I need. I've fallen a few times with them and never gotten a scratch. My only complaint is that the chamois isn't the best fitting but perfectly acceptable. These are good quality light weight pad and I've bought two complete sets of elbow, knee and compression bike shorts. I've tried all the other gform ones and these really are the best version (and the latest version).
