Nonostante fosse una taglia XL, ho dovuto portarle ad allargare. La mia ragazza di 13 anni non riusciva ad indossarle per quanto strette.

Sleeve type pads are more comfortable than straps. They are stretchy without being too tight and are low profile. They don't slide down. The privide a bit of protection to the sides of the knees as well. They do bunch a bit behind the knees creating pinching discomfort with bent knee position if worn a long time, yet the best we have found.

I am a tile installer, I wear knee pads but the straps tear up the backs of my knees. These are a godsend. Slight rub but nothing like the straps of a regular knee pad.To save these from getting destroyed from thinset I still put regular knee pads under these when I am spreading mud or grouting so I have double the cushion and give these a longer life in my line of work. It’s great because I normally only wear knee pads when I am spreading mud or grout (without straps) so if I get up and move to go cut a tile on the machine or anything else chances are I don’t have knee pads on. This now gives my knees what they deserve.Amazon has changed the game for me in construction. These say bicycle knee pads but man they should also say construction pads.Even goggles, I always see “snowboarding goggles” but for $7.00 they are the best protection goggles I have ever bought.Doing tile it is inevitable I will need to repurchase these again. Will gladly buy again. Thank you.

These are everything I hoped they'd be. I wear them when rollerblading/rollerskating when I want some protection but don't want to go all out with hard knee pads. They're a small enough profile that I can wear them under my pants unobtrusively, and they have stood up well to a few falls. Keep in mind they're more for protection against abrasion and light impact than they are for real impact protection -- if you're skating ramps or bowls you'll want heavier pads than these but they're great for a bit of added protection if you're skating street and want to lessen the chance of road rash. They felt pretty tight at first, and left noticeable red indents in my skin, but after a few months of use they've stretched out a little and are comfortable now.

Extremadamente cómodas, es como ir sin nada, no se mueven gracias a la silicona y muy buena protección. Las uso para hacer snowboard y estoy encantado

Pros: These are a life saver, or at least a skin and bone saver. I bought these for my 14 year old son for mountain biking (I also wear the same elbow and knee pads which have keep me from having multiple injuries). I have worn mine for about a year and they are starting to show some wear with the foam tearing on one spot (I have been wearing and washing them ~ 3 times a week over the past 4 months....so I feel like they have held up well considering the amount of use, crashes, and washes they have received. They are the most comfortable padding I have worn. I don't even feel them (except for when I get hot, see below) after wearing a few minutes. I am 5'6" and 118 pounds, fairly muscular and the small fit me pretty good (I think I may try the medium for my next purchase because they are a little light at the top around my quads. My son is 5'4" and 96 pounds with fair quad and calf muscle and the small fit him great.Cons:These have very little "breathability" (little air flow) so they will get wet with sweat and increase your body heat (I wash them with each wear as I do intense rides).... great if it is cold outside, but is a negative factor when riding or using them when it is hot.Cost. I feel these are pricey and they have increased in price since last year which is why I only gave them 4 stars.

At 51 years old, I still ride like I am a teenager. My weapon of choice is a 29" BMX Cruiser. And, I love kick the rear end out on loose surfaces, ride long distances, and do some technical riding. And about a week ago, I decided to ride up a ramp onto a pavilion on Pensacola Beach. What I didn't realize was the pavilion must have had a days worth of suntan lotion on it from all the tourists and when I rode up it this time, immediately I went down.As I always wear gloves and a helmet, getting knee pads was not a huge stretch for me. And I have to admit that I was stubborn about getting knee pads for a long time. And while I think it's kind of cool that a man my age can act in a way that yields a raspberry on the knee, at the same time, dressing the wound keeping it clean is a lot of extra work I do not need.So the first time I wore these, I thought they were not very comfortable. I have hairy legs, and the thick silicone band on the inside does not feel good. And I also experienced some creep as the pads seemed to move down to where they wanted to be as I rode. But, I started wearing them with compression socks. and it's a whole new ball game. Also, I adjusted them by pulling the bottom band up and allowing a lot of play. What I noticed is that if you try to make them fit like a tights, they will creep down on you as you pedal. But, if you bring the ends closer together and allow the pad itself to rest loosely over your knee, you do not experience creep. Granted, I am now only wearing these with knee high compression socks. But the set up I described should work for anyone.Haven't fallen again since I bought them. But, I feel more confident in taking chances by maybe going a little faster on a tight corner or braking later.

I ride cross-country and needed every ride elbow and knee protection that was wearable without excessive discomfort. Although this pads offer significant less protection compared to the SixSixOne Rage set I own, in my opinion, they offer the compromise of less bulk and more comfort that you can wear on every ride in both cold or warm weather. Obviously if your riding more downhill and hard technical trails one should wear the SIxSixOne heavier or similar pads. This pads stay in place, do not impeded elbow and knee mobility and are very comfortable to wear.I machine wash them about every other ride if soiled, and flat dry them away from sunlight without a problem. To remove them, peel them down about 4 inches from the top, (like a banana) and they will slip right off without damaging the material.5'11", 215 weight, 36 waist.Knee pad size XLElbow pad size XL

The g-form pads live up to the hype. They fit under clothes, do not restrict movement much or slide down. They really do absorb impact amazingly. As an older skater my joints appreciate the protection. These are not a replacement for full plastic capped pads such as used by vert, pool and downhill skaters for sliding on. But that is not part of their design spec. They are for impact, not extended sliding.

These were pretty comfortable at first, but as soon as I started moving a lot they became really uncomfortable.I'd keep them and modify them if they were cheaper, but I don't want to destroy a £52 set of knee pads, so I'll be returning them.I bought some g-form shin pads for £10 per set, which I plan to cut up and make into more comfortable versions of these knee pads. They are smaller though, so while that's not ideal it will be fine for my uses.Regarding protection, it seems alright for basic uses, not going too fast. It doesn't feel like it will be good for fast speed stuff, although I supposed maybe still better than nothing.
