Hasn't worked since I've set it up. Tried resetting the gateway several times without any luck.

It's a surprisingly tiny gateway, but it does work for smart locks and tuya devices. I kind of wish it'd support localized tuya control, like local_tuya does, but ah... well.This works at least, to centralize tuya devices if that's your jam, though.

When I got this item it worked just as advertised, about a month and a half later it simply stopped working, after that I gave it a bad review, because of that reason the manufacturer or distributor contacted me, they offered to replace the product even when the return window was closed by Amazon, after some time and many failed trouble shooting (starting with using a different wire) I stopped trying, about a week later, I used another wire again and it simply started working the same way it stopped, but now flawlessly and it's been working ever since, about 6 months now ...My assumption is that the connector wire was defective, once again they offered to replace it, but there was no need to, this product was affordable and it does what it was supposed to, other than the inconvenience with the wire I have it back a 4 star rating, would be a 5 if this didn't happened.

Excellent gateway for my smart home! Easy to set up and connect to my devices, and the compatibility with Alexa and Google Home is a huge plus. Reliable and efficient, it's a great central hub for my smart devices.

I was about to return this because I could not get it to hook up with my WiFi to be used with Home Smart fingerprint Door knob. Well it turns my router has to be on 2.4Ghz. Called my Internet company and they were able to get my router to be on both 2.4GHz & 5GHz. Many smart devices only work on 2.4. So now it works. FYI the fingerprint on the Doorknob is not that great. But I only need to lock the inside door when I leave my house.

It technically works, but not well. I would recommend searching for something that has a larger variety of compatible devices.
