Eleocharis vivipara is a species of flowering plant in the sedge family. It is native to the southern United States from eastern Texas to eastern Virginia. It takes the form of a clump of thin stems. A spike of flowers appears at the tip of the stem. The plant may also reproduce by growing a plantlet and runners. Moderate CO2 requirement.

Plants were in great shape; but for $14, I was expecting give or take the amount of plants advertised in the product picture. I would have given 5 stars, but I received less than half of what was advertised. I was able to split it up into four little sections as seen in aquarium pic.

Beautiful and Tall, I am impressed with the quality of this tall grass. the color is great and it came in and still is very healthy and green. I will be getting more plants like this from this vendor.

Plant was 95% brown, the plant was only 4 inches tall. Plus it had a very small root system.will not buy from this company in the future sad product’

I don't normally leave Amazon reviews but felt I needed to in this case. I've ordered plants from online before from other dealers. They are just OK. Some are a bit skimpy in quantity or quality. I have to say Mainam was neither! The plants were quickly delivered and the quantity of useful seedlings was way more than I've gotten from other sellers. Also, the quality was outstanding! No yellow, unhealthy and limp at all. I will definitely be coming back to Mainam.

Ordered 2 items from this seller, dwarf baby tears tissue culture and a bundle of tall hair grass. The package arrived next day, in great condition, bright green, and healthy. I was able to line the back wall of a 5 gallon tank and spread the tissue culture across 2 separate small tanks! My bettas immediately started playing in them and are obviously happy! Crossing my fingers it blankets the bottom quickly and will update the review when there's visible growth!

I ordered 3 of these plants, what I can say is my plants arrived healthy and in good time. I'm mad at myself because I assumed these were giant hairgrass plants - they look good in my aquarium, just not exactly what I wanted. I can't blame anyone but myself for that mistake. Lesson learned, look at the scientific name! I took away a star for their packaging. The roots were wrapped in styrofoam, with a metal weight. All three plants were in a sealed plastic bag. But this plastic bag was in a bubble wrap envelope but no protection was given to the plant stems themselves. Usually cardboard is used to protect the integrity of the plant. Also I got a piece of paper with instructions for caring for water lilies. It confused me, because I did not order water lilies ... I wasn't sure if this was for packaging purposes or just some random information. Either way, not very helpful.
